The Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association is collecting donations to help offset budget cuts at the state’s public schools.
If you want to help, make checks payable to “

First Hawaiian Bank will serve as collection points for donations (checks only) for the campaign running through Sept. 30.
The Honolulu Advertiser plans to publish names of donors to the HHSAA's Save Our Sports fundraising drive. Much like The Advertiser’s annual Christmas Fund, donors’ names and the amounts given will be listed. Anonymous donations will be listed as such.

Contrast Magazine present The Anti-Canvas: an art show/auction for charity on Friday Dec. 4, 2009 at SOHO Mixed Media Bar which is located on 80 South Pauahi Street. This event will be held in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk and all of the proceeds will benefit Save Our Sports, Junior Lifeguard Program and the Samoa Relief Disaster Fund.
