HHSAA BASEBALL: Kamehemeha-Maui beat Kalani 5-2


 



Kamehameha-Maui’s Isaiah Kaneakua was the winning pitcher going 5.2 innings and collecting six strikeouts to help advance the Warriors (11-5) into the second round against Pearl City, the Oahu Interscholastic Association champions, on Thursday at 5:00pm. at Les Murakami Stadium.

Kalehuawehe also had ten putouts while playing first base and pitched the final 1.1 innings. Feiteira had two hits and an RBI in addition to scoring the second inning.   

Kalani,(10-5) scored both of its runs in the third inning on RBI hits by Jordan Sumida and Jason Lee. The Falcons will now play in the consolation game against Kauai on Friday at 10:00 at the Central Oahu Regional Park.
