HHSAA Division II BASEBALL: Maryknoll 12, No. 3 Seabury Hall 2 (5 inn.)

Maryknoll scored four in the fourth inning and six in the fifth to rout Seabury Hall.

Ryan Nakamura, the Spartans’ No. 9 hitter, scored twice and drove in three runs, and Josh Muneno batted 3-for-3 and scored three times. Kaelen Hirashiki, Jed Andrade and Blaine Hokama each added two RBIs for Maryknoll.

The Spartans’ Aaron Tom scattered six hits in a complete-game performance. He walked none and struck out one. Both runs against him scored in the top of the first.

Maryknoll plays the winner of Waipahu/Konawaena in the semifinals Thursday at 1 p.m. at Les Murakami Stadium.
Seabury Hall plays the loser of Waipahu/Konawaena in a consolation game Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Hans L’Orange Park.
