ILH Race Tightens Further With Kamehameha Win, 53-50, April 25, 2007.
Everyone knew this would be a tough game. The Warriors and Raiders are excellent teams. They had split the first two games, the Raiders winning the first game of the season at home, and losing pretty convincingly the second time around at Kamehameha.
The Raiders played a lot better than the second game last night at the Iolani lower gym, but in the end, it wasn't quite good enough. Sporadic shooting woes again haunted the Raiders. With a little better shooting this game could have gone into the win column. But, on this night anyway, the intensity, which was at a peak level, was not enough to make up for the missed shooting opportunities.
The Warriors are to be congratulated for a very strong game on both ends of the court.
