KIF FOOTBALL: Waimea defeats Kapa‘a, 14-13

KAPA`A - In the most competitive contest of the early Kaua`i Interscholastic Federation prep football season, the Waimea Menehune (3-2 overall, 2-1 KIF) got two scoring strikes from junior QB Jenzen Cacal and a staunch defensive goal line stand with :06 left to deny a Kapa`a (1-4 overall, 0-3 KIF) two-point rushing PAT try and pull out a dramatic 14-13 victory Friday evening on the Warrior's New Town Park field.
