KIF FOOTBALL: Kaua‘i defeats Waimea, 41-14

HANAPEPE - The Kaua‘i Red Raiders (5-0 overall, 3-0 KIF) took advantage of seven defensive turnovers (5 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries), four Trey Shimabukuro TD passes, and a pair of Trent Allianic field goals to remain the state's only undefeated prep varsity football squad with a 41-14 road win over the Waimea Menehune (3-3 overall, 2-2 KIF), Friday evening at Hanapepe Stadium.
